Fostering Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
The Group actively promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) through various sponsorships. In May 2024, we proudly sponsored “Diamond Cab” Hong Kong's first social enterprise offering point-to-point wheelchair taxi services. At their opening ceremony for the hybrid diamond and empathy driving training simulator, we honoured long-serving drivers with gold zodiac charms to express our gratitude for their dedication.
We also participated in the Hong Chi Climbathon in October 2024. Our three colleagues teamed up with two students from the Hong Chi Association for the 75-floor relay race. Through baton-passing practice and stair-running training, they shared their experiences from past running competitions, which helped boost the confidence of the students and foster mutual trust. The team demonstrated excellent teamwork and won first runner-up in the integration group category.
In addition to these initiatives, we participated in the "Codekey Connect" event initiated by Codekey Cookies in November 2024, where over 50 employees and more than 300 volunteers collaborated to create braille cookies spelling "LOVE." The cookies were distributed to grassroots families, conveying a message of social care.
These initiatives not only raise awareness of the needs of people with disabilities but also strengthen connections between the business and social services sectors. They provide our employees with invaluable experience working with diverse groups, further enhancing workplace inclusivity. We believe these efforts reflect our commitment to fostering a more inclusive society and fulfilling our social responsibility.
