Family Happiness Index Survey: Enhancing Employees' Family Happiness
We collaborated with the Hong Kong Family Welfare Society (HKFWS) to conduct a Family Happiness Index survey for employees in May 2024. This initiative aimed to help employees understand their family happiness and receive suggestions for improvement. The survey assessed six key areas: family solidarity, family resources, family health, social connections, social resources, and work-life balance.
The results showed that our employees achieved a Family Happiness Index of 6.76, higher than that of the Hong Kong average for 2024, with notable scores in "family solidarity," "family health," and "family resources." However, employees with caregiving responsibilities reported lower happiness indices, highlighting the need for additional support. In response, we organised workshops, seminars, and community activities to help these employees learn relaxation techniques and improve their emotional wellbeing.
This survey enhances employees’ awareness of their family dynamics and provides valuable insights for improving our workplace environment.
