Partnership with the Hong Kong Palace Museum: “Chinese Gold Craftsmanship Heritage Education Programme”

Chow Tai Fook Jewellery Group is honoured to sign a five-year educational partnership with the Hong Kong Palace Museum, launching the “Chinese Gold Craftsmanship Heritage Education Programme” in October 2024. With a sponsorship of HK$10 million, the programme is dedicated to showcasing the outstanding artistic and technical achievements of Chinese goldsmithing, preserving and perpetuating China’s rich cultural heritage.

The programme aims to enhance awareness of the development, history, artistic features and cultural significance of Chinese gold craftsmanship among the younger generation. It aims to foster their appreciation of Chinese gold artistry, leading them to contribute to the preservation of Chinese culture and nurture a sense of national pride. Expected to benefit at least 50,000 individuals, it includes activities and resources on goldsmithing, artefact design, and cultural exchange, such as masterclasses, workshops, and study tours to the Greater Bay Area and the Beijing Palace Museum. As we celebrate 95 years of excellence in Chinese gold craftsmanship, the partnership marks a significant milestone in showcasing China's beauty through our jewellery and cultivating appreciation for its traditions.
